The Grassington Festival ran for over 40 years, starting in 1981. Sadly, times have changed. There are many more Festivals to go to, Artistes fees are higher, local people are prepared to travel further and our small village is no longer able to support an independent arts festival.

There were some fabulous times along the way and some day a new group of people may wish to try again. However, for the time being, we are now in the process of winding up the society’s affairs.
