Wilde Without the Boy
Festival Hall The Devonshire Institute, 48 Main Street, Grassington, North YorkshireWilde Without the Boy is a window into the bruised - but still radiant - soul of one of the most iconic writers of his age. The play also includes Wilde’s haunting poem, The Ballad of Reading Gaol which narrates the execution of a fellow prisoner and voices Wilde’s thoughts on the injustice of the prison system of the time and the need for reform.
