The Festival Hall has disabled access. There is an extremely small car park in front of the Festival Hall and an overflow car park directly above it. The YDNPA car park is only ten minutes walk away. Seats are not always allocated so it is best to arrive early and get a drink from the bar whilst waiting for the act to start. You can get to the Octagon through the Festival Hall.

HOW TO FIND US

By Train

The nearest station is Skipton (9miles from Grassington) which has regular services to Leeds, Bradford and other mainline stations. Taxis are available from the station or you can take a bus.

By Air

The nearest airport is Leeds/Bradford (30 miles from Grassington)

By  Bus

Regular buses run to Grassington from Skipton, Ilkley, Buckden and Hedben. For more information please visit the Dales Bus website.

By Car

From Leeds take the A65/A59 to Skipton; From Manchester take the M65 to Colne and then the A65 to Skipton; From Harrogate take the the A59 to Skipton; From Clitheroe take the A59 to Skipton. From Skipton follow the B6265 to Grassington. Why not car share with friends? Save money and do your bit for the environment.

FACILITIES

Parking

During the Festival car parking in the village can be crowded and the Square is often unavailable for parking at weekends. There is a very small free public car park below the Town Hall and overspill parking above the Town Hall and a YDNPA pay and display car park on the Hebden Road which is about 5-10 minutes from the Town Hall.

Environment

Grassington is a beautiful small village justly proud of its setting and tranquillity. Please be sensitive to local residents in trying to keep noise down when leaving venues late at night. Please take rubbish home with you and help us keep the village clean and tidy.

Accessibility

There is an induction loop for those with hearing difficulties in the Town Hall simply switch your hearing aid to the “T” position. Please call the House Manager on 01756 752691 to ensure we help you with access arrangements and wheelchair seating.

Children

We aim to be a child friendly festival and welcome children to events. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will talk you through a show so that you can make a decision about taking young children. We have special events aimed at children during the festival which are highlighted in the event guide.
